HELP IN A HURRY
For quick references, use the electronic HTML help. There is a Help file for Operator Functions, Management Functions, Email Server and Fax Manager. These HTML help files are located on the software update CDs and can be loaded onto all web consoles, the administrator PC or any other Windows PC.

Revenue Opportunity
An Order Entry Client wants our service to take messages for him. How do we keep track of both messages taken and orders taken on the totals report so that we can bill properly without setting up a sub-account to track them separately?

SOLUTION
Utilize Expanded Totals and Hypertext commands to obviate the need to setup a sub-account. An account that is configured as an Order Entry account will present a default catalog form upon pressing the [Enter Msg] key. Pressing the [Deliver Msg] key will present the list of pending orders. To take messages for this account and track (count) messages taken, use hypertext commands to present a message form and to also view the undelivered message list.

Example:
{Take Messages&F22T1}            {Deliver Messages&V}
The 1st command will present form # 22 and increment the Expanded Totals 1 field on the totals report each time this command is used. The 2nd command will present the undelivered message list for this account.
{Take an Order&O22T2}               {Review Orders&o22}
The 1st command will present catalog #22 and increment the Expanded Totals 2 field on the totals report each time this command is used. The 2nd command will present the pending orders for catalog 22.

Special Request
We manually fax messages to Dr. Green’s office after lunch, but today the receptionist asked that the messages be sent to a different fax number for today only. How can I send their messages to the new fax number without changing the AMR?

SOLUTION
You can ‘T&Y’ to another fax number on the fly. From the ‘Selecting Msg’ state, press ‘T’, then type the new fax number, press [Select], then ‘Y’ to manually transmit the undelivered message list to a new fax number.
